GALESS is the six-department chemical enterprise that was established in beautiful and picturesquely situated Świdnica (Lower Silesia) in 1982.
GALESS, having well educated managerial staff and well-qualified and responsible workers, with using advanced technologies, establishes aims enabling a development and creating a new kind of high quality services and products that meet customers' requirements.

The head office of GALESS is located in Świdnica (just close to the road from Wrocław to Jelenia Góra) and consists of the Board's offices, main hot-dip galvanizing plant, high temperature hot-dip galvanizing plant and The Electroplating Plant "Świdnica".
The Group of Zinc Coating Plants "GALESS" is located 10 km from Świdnica in Bystrzyca Górna in Góry Sowie (The Owl Mountains). It consists of The Hot-dip Galvanizing Plant and The Electroplating Plant "Bystrzyca".
Since 1995 the Company has had the status of a protected working place. This situation to be considered as a very beneficial both for a number of disabled people who may work in GALESS and for our customers who get discounts in obligatory payments to the PFRON fund (The National Fund for Rehabilitation of Disabled People).
Environment protection
The Galess Group owners taking into consideration the matters connected with an environment protection as one of the first in Poland obtain IPPC (Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control). The target this permission is minimization the emissions of pollutions into air, water and ground and to undertaking the actions in following areas:
- review of used techniques and technologies,
- identification of meaningful environmental problems,
- setting the limit levels for emissions into the environment,
in order that an influence of GALESS onto the environment to be as low as possible and to be minimizing constantly within a long period.
